Sweet Cooper

Well, this week has been met with mixed emotions. It is my last week with Cooper before I go back to work. I've tried to spend as much time as I can just looking at him, staring into his eyes, capturing every cute moment, teaching him new things and making sure he knows his mama!! I know next week will be TOUGH, but I'm very fortunate to have had the ten weeks with him that I had. I wish we had a dozen more!!!

Cooper is starting to fill out some! His face is getting rounder, the fat rolls are developing on his legs and arms and he is laughing and smiling at us constantly- when he's not crying! We go next week to the doctor for his first set of immunizations- yikes!! I am making David go with me for moral support!!

We reached a turning point on Tuesday night when he slept for six hours straight! I woke up every hour to make sure he was still breathing! It was amazing. We hope he continues this pattern- fingers crossed!

Oh, and he had a great Easter Sunday. He did very well during church and did not make a sound (except for one grunt- we can all guess what he was trying to do- he gave his GiGi a nice present!). The Easter Bunny was very good to him! See you next year Peter Cottontail!

Fashion Week

This week has been fashion week at the Wells household. Cooper sat for two photo shoots- without crying or puking!!! He was amazing. I think he really has a knack for modeling. Maybe he'll score a huge contract and earn some major bucks for college. Anyway, the photos were taken by myself, photographer extraordinaire, at the house using the outfits that his Aunt Shay gave to him. I think they are perfect for the Easter holiday!

Remember to keep checking back for updates!

Welcome!

Welcome, everyone, to our blog! We decided to warp into the 21st century and try this 'blogging' thing!

The MOST important thing that has happened to our family is Cooper! William Cooper was born on January 22nd at 4:26 AM in Athens, GA at St. Mary's hospital. On Tuesday, March 18th, Cooper turned 8 weeks old!! We can't believe all of the changes that we have been through. It seems like yesterday when we brought him home from the hospital. He will be enjoying his first Easter this weekend! Can't wait for the Easter Bunny!

Greetings! Welcome to the blog spot for Ashley, David, Cooper and Zachary Wells!! We hope this will be a good place for our family and friends to keep up with us (well, keep up with the kids since they are the main attraction right now!). Feel free to view our pics, read our stories and leave a message!!

Believe it or not, this was taken in the pitch black dark when Cooper was 'supposed' to be going night night. David crept in to see what he was up to...

He loves to stand and play the music on the play station; really he just beats it to death...
